NRPS Workgroup

The Gas Forum is sponsoring the development of a National Revenue Protection Service (NRPS) initially for the gas industry but capable of being a multi-utility service. 

Suppliers – both domestic and I & C are working together to build a new service which would offer theft detection and investigation services on behalf of the entire industry.  Suppliers have looked at the achievements of the Insurance industry in reducing fraud and are looking at new developments in technology to improve the detection of theft and to prevent further losses which are a cost burden on consumers.
